Where They’re Being Planted
This map makes me happy in a way that’s hard to explain.
Every dot is someone who bought a seed from this little shop and chose to put it into the ground where they live. In backyards and open fields. Along rivers and quiet streams. On mountain ridges, desert plains, and tropical coastlines. In places that have seen flood, fire, drought, and everything in between.
I don’t know most of the people behind these dots, but I feel connected to them anyway. People who care enough about trees to make space for them. To water them. To nurture them. To imagine what they might become long after we’re gone.
Somewhere today, another seed is going into the ground. Another root system beginning its slow, patient work.
I’m deeply grateful we get to be part of it.
